Congratulations Elouise Monck on elevation to ClarkeKann partnership!

28 June 2021

ClarkeKann is gearing up for continued growth in the financial services sector with the internal promotion of banking and financial services lawyer Elouise Monck to Partner.

The move offers ClarkeKann clients even greater legal insight and incisive solutions for business transactions and complex deals, which are a core area of expertise for the specialist firm.

Formerly Special Counsel at ClarkeKann, Elouise has gained significant experience at top tier firms in the areas of corporate finance, real estate finance, agribusiness, project finance and restructuring not only in Australia but also in the US, as a member of the New York Bar.

Elouise says: “As a team, we have unrivalled knowledge and understanding of our clients’ financial opportunities and challenges. Demand for our financial services and banking expertise has never been greater and it is a significant area of growth for ClarkeKann. I am particularly looking forward to contributing to our clients’ success as we excel and expand in this sector.”

Elouise’s promotion to Partner within 12 months of joining ClarkeKann highlights the company’s inclusive family-friendly culture, and the promotional pathway that is available to all employees, regardless of working arrangements and outside-of-work responsibilities.

Elouise adds: “It is an absolute credit to ClarkeKann that lawyers like myself who work flexibly due to family arrangements are not simply accommodated, but are fully supported and promoted within a collaborative, team environment.”

In her new role, Elouise will join ClarkeKann Partner Miles Anderson in leading the Financial Services team which supports and advises clients through all types of banking and finance transactions, financial services regulation and funds management.

Miles Anderson says: “We have exceptional career opportunities at ClarkeKann and are proud to attract and retain some of the best talent in the legal business. Elouise is a “top shelf” financial services lawyer. She brings a wealth of experience and financial strategy skills to the partnership, ensuring our clients achieve the best legal and financial outcomes for commercial growth.”
