John Toigo and Kate Gardner in our Corporate Team, recently acted as the Australian lawyers for Anteo Diagnostics Limited (ASX:ADO), an Australian listed biotech company, in its acquisition of 100% of DIAsource ImmunoAssays S.A., a Belgium based diagnostics company, which operates in 75 countries.

This is a transformational acquisition for Anteo, providing it with an established global distribution platform, manufacturing capabilities and a significantly broadened product range. As part of this transaction John and Kate also advised Anteo on its capital raising activities (including a rights issue) to fund the acquisition.
