Legal ExpertiseProfileDale has a broad background in commercial and banking litigation and has specialised in insolvency for over 15 years. Dale has advised insolvency practitioners in relation to some of Australia’s largest corporate collapses including Ansett Australia, Compass Airlines, Pyramid Building Society and Power Hotels. Dale has also acted in a range of large litigations including Trade Practices actions under Sections 45, 46 and 47 of the Trade Practices Act 1974 (Cth) and the copyright infringement case relating to the popular reality TV program, “The Block” and more recently the Westpoint collapse. Dale is also an accredited mediator and a member of the executive of the business law section of the Law Council of Australia. He is the principal lecturer in the subject “Corporate Insolvency” in the Masters of Laws course at the Queensland University of Technology.
